Ashlyn is our 18 year old daughter with autism and an intellectual disability. On her orientation visit to Tullybrook in September 2023 she was extremely apprehensive of Michelle, the new environment and the animals. Ashlyn commenced the Stepping Out program in November 2023. Moving forward to 2nd of July 2024 she is this day boating around Walpole with Michelle and seven of her peers.
Along her Tullybrook journey we have proudly watched Ashlyn grow in confidence and her enthusiasm to participate. She has developed greater independence in everyday tasks, proudly showing off the fruits of her labour in cooking/baking and talking about her daily experiences. A highlight for us has been her growth in confidence around the animals. She now allows alpacas to feed from her hands and she has developed a special affinity with the horses. Ashlyn has patted, hosed and brushed them and even given them kisses on their muzzle. We wouldn’t have believed it if we hadn’t seen the photo.
Ashlyn has also transitioned from school to working at forming a micro business with a peer friend, Katrina. The two girls have worked collaboratively, followed directions and encouraged each other to achieve a mutual goal in a short period of time has been outstanding. They now have two stock feed businesses stocking their "doggy treats".
Ashlyn has been able to achieve this growth because of the patience and passion that Michelle displays. She has devised and implemented learning experiences which take children out of their comfort zone in a safe and meaningful way. Michelle engages beautifully with Ashlyn, speaks with her, not at her, and encourages her to be her best.
Thank you Tullybrook for being a valued member of Ashlyn’s team.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of meeting Michelle, at Tullybrook through her School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) Program. Michelle has extensive knowledge of all areas of the National Disability Insurance Scheme which she navigated for us to receive the support my daughter needed.
The wonderful Tullybrook experience enabled my daughter to relax and soak in all that was offered. This led to work experience in the community, with lots of new skills and feedback, which in turn led to employment with the backing of atWork Australia.
Michelle gave 110 percent of her time, effort and passion in helping my daughter achieve a positive Tullybrook experience in finding employment which should be ongoing.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to you and your wonderful Tullybrook experience.

Tullybrook school leaver clients are valued members of our team at the Denmark Tip Shop.
Each week they continue to build their skills within a range of roles which has been so beneficial to our business. Often they take on tasks we haven't got to during the week.
Well done and thank you Tullybrook.

Tullybrook provide a wonderful service. It gives people the chance to develop skills in a very special setting. They are very professional and all of my NDIS participants who have attended love it and always want to go back.

Tullybrook was recommended to us by NDIS. Locating small group activity programs to suit “lads” has been challenging in our locality. Tullybrook absolutely meets this gap and runs a program which allows individuals to shine and feel valued while learning important life skills. Tullybrook provides a program that is rich in opportunity and has absolutely nailed the gap in service need for our local region.

I had all but given up on finding anything meaningful for my son until I saw Tullybrook Facebook advertisement. Tullybrook has been like a magic bullet, ticking all the boxes for us. It is fair to say it is the only worthwhile therapy he has received since leaving early childhood.

The best part of joining Tullybrook is seeing my son's radiant smile after each session. He has made genuine friendships and gained so much confidence socially and trying new things from archery to cooking to whale watching and everything in between. Michelle and Stuart's dedication to each individual person and their families is truly admirable.

My husband and I met with Michelle from Tullybrook in regards to accessing individualised support and group support for our son. Michelle welcomed us onto her property and we instantly felt at ease as we wandered and she demonstrated what her facilities had to offer. We were fascinated at how passionate she was and loved hearing in detail about her programs. We are looking forward to our son visiting to engage in programs where he will improve his independence, learn new skills and connect with others.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tullybrook Individualised Support Services where I met owner Michelle and two of their fabulous young people. They took time out of their day to show me around, talk to me about what they're learning and they let me feed the horses.
Tullybrook is an inspiring place that provides opportunities for NDIS participants to actively participate in the community, live independently and develop pre-workplace skills.
